Hypertherm Hosts Launch Event For New Plasma Cutting System Hypertherm

Singapore: Industrial cutting system provider Hypertherm hosted an event for channel partners, where they were introduced to two new additions: plasma cutting system XPR-300 and CNC automated control system Edge Connect.

A live cutting demonstration of the XPR-300 was also held at the company’s Singapore branch. The plasma cutting system is able to cut sheet metal up to 50 mm thick with an argon-assist mixture.

Israel Gonzalez, regional director of Hypertherm Asia Pacific, also shared the company’s plans for Asia-Pacific in the near future, “Our strategy is divided across three broad areas. The first is to expand our services beyond the cutting table by providing software and service solutions. The second is to increase technology adoption where awareness of our metal cutting solutions is low. And finally, we aim to expand our market share in countries where awareness of thermal cutting is high, such as Japan for example.”
